Co-founded the equity practice to ensure work is a place where people can thrive. We specialize in trainings, restorative work, and retreats to build individual and organizational capacity on principles of liberation and to build authentic, human-centered relationships with reciprocity at the center.

Hired as part of a team restructure to create an in-house recruiting firm model, providing centralized local, regional, and national hiring at all levels of the organization, including executive search. Co-created hiring playbook to evolve hiring processes, improve cross-functional collaboration, and bring best practices into recruitment and hiring. Built and implemented systems automations to improve efficiencies across search management and operations.

During my time at Teaching Trust, I led and executed all aspects of talent and people operations for a start-up education nonprofit including:▪ Developed, led, and evolved hiring and staffing strategies to support rapid growth of the organization; increased staff by 200% over 24-month period▪ Established equity-focused hiring and selection practices; increased staff of color at all levels of the organization from 20% to 55% over the course of three years▪ Redesigned, piloted and launched Teaching Trust’s internal hiring and promotion processes to decrease inequities amongst staff promotions and career pathways▪ Implemented candidate cultivation strategies to create an exceptional candidate experience that built trust and invested candidates in employer brand; resulting in 98% of candidates agreeing that they would refer others to the organization▪ Oversaw all employee benefits, benchmarking with peer organizations to ensure competitive placement among industry standards; increased employee satisfaction rate to 98%▪ Co-created equity-focused employee policies aligned with organizational values▪ Co-led a comprehensive employee onboarding program to reduce employee ramp-up time, and increase short and long-term employee engagement

Built internal and external talent pipelines, led and executed talent sourcing and acquisition, and developed internal and external staffing processes that allow Teaching Trust to staff with agility and triple in size over 3 years.

Managed and led talent and people operations throughout the start-up stage for a growing nonprofit.

Participated in the EHCLI fellowship, which aims to grow and strengthen the pipeline of leaders who can design and implement highly-effective human capital functions across the education sector, specifically to benefit our nation’s highest need students.

Responsible for the academic development and progress of approximately 300 MBA students. Cultivated positive rapport with cohort members to deliver an exceptional and high-quality student experience. Developed and executed recruitment strategy to promote and build MBA program presence, resulting in a 20% enrollment increase of professional MBA students in first year.

Managed three extramural grants for the College of Nursing; tracked and managed student and program data, and reported on progression and success of scholarship programs. Researched and initiated new grant proposals.

Oversaw daily operations of nine-story parking garage, retail, office and storage space; ongoing management of commercial parking contracts, office and retail leasing, financial reporting and supervision of maintenance staff and parking attendants.
