International consultant and trainer on and conflict transformation, negotiation and conflict sensitivity. Currently working at CEDER, a non-profit NGO specializing in negotiation and community social research and faculty member of the most prestigious university in Guatemala. Have written a number of books and research papers on social conflict and land issues. At present my focus of interest are violence against women and conflicts related to the use and exploitation of natural resources, community outreach and the rights of indigenous populations.
