• Provide wide-ranging legal counsel to institutional personnel and departments, including institution leadership, physician-scientists, preclinical research operations, and technology licensing.• Negotiate, draft and execute confidentiality agreements, clinical trial agreements, material & data transfer research agreements, and other legal documents governing the conduct of clinical and preclinical research.• Coordinate with other institutional legal practice areas, including regulatory compliance, privacy, procurement, and licensing, to manage and maintain MSK's robust invention portfolio.• Partner with hospital information systems to optimize internal contract system management and develop an automated reporting system for legal matters, licensing, and intellectual property disposition.

• Oversee day-to-day multi-site operations of the Warren Alpert Center for Digital and Computational Pathology, the Pathology Digital Imaging Laboratory, and the Computational Pathology Laboratory. • Devise, deploy and monitor processes for fiscal governance, data management, and compliance.• Partner with the Office of Technology Development's legal team to assist with the negotiation and execution of legal documents governing the conduct of research and disposition of intellectual property.• Maintain and enhance relationships with funders, institutional partners, and oversight committees by preparing research and financial reports and coordinating special events, stakeholder meetings, correspondence, tours, and presentations. • Formulate processes for the recruitment, onboarding, training, and management of staff through direct oversight, administration of performance evaluations, and implementation of disciplinary action.

• Provide multi-site administrative support for the Precision Pathology Biobanking Center (PPBC) and the Warren Alpert Center for Digital & Computational Pathology (WAC), their four research laboratories, 35 personnel, and three principal investigators (PIs). • Responsible for calendar management, talent acquisition and onboarding, meeting coordination, travel arrangements, staff schedules and payroll, oversight of billing processes and invoicing, financial monitoring reports, and prepare research abstracts, presentations, printed and promotional materials.• Liaise between PIs, internal compliance departments, and outside vendors to facilitate research, develop processes to identify and manage intellectual property, and assist in the negotiation and arrangement of confidentiality, collaboration, and maintenance agreements.• Organize special events, including three guest seminars, two research symposiums, team building activities, weekly research meetings, and the launch of the WAC.

• Support pharmaceutical antitrust litigations involving the Sherman Antitrust Act by conducting legal research to prepare deposition summaries and questions, legal memoranda, briefs, and research reports on various legal and regulatory matters.• Liaise with outside counsel on discovery analysis and production, identification of potential witnesses, and litigation strategy.

• Aid in litigation and regulatory matters, including Securities Class Actions, Banking Regulation, Securitizations, LIBOR, Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A), and Intellectual Property by conducting internal audits of attorney work product to ensure compliance with discovery protocols.• Provide guidance and training to the litigation team on compliance issues or gaps for review and follow-up.

• Assist in corporate internal investigations on a broad range of legal and compliance matters involving SEC Regulations, international pharmaceutical research, distribution, and contracting. • Provide regular updates to management on investigation results, due diligence, and data analysis.• Identify employee corruption, draft deposition questions, and investigate risk areas and institutional vulnerabilities.

• Practice in a complex Residential Mortgage-Backed Securities (RMBS) litigation involving Anti-Money Laundering Laws, the Investment Advisers Act of 1940, and the Securities Exchange Act.• Identify potential witnesses, draft deposition questions, and identify practices of corruption. • Implement discovery and production requests, ensuring compliance with court orders and firm protocols.

• Conduct client intake interviews, advanced legal research, and prepare memoranda of law on procedural and substantive areas of immigration law.• Work with both the legal and policy team to advance initiatives and coordinate phone conferences, teach-ins, and lobbying efforts with advocates and elected officials throughout the United States around current public policy proposals and pending legislation.

• Conduct advanced legal research and prepare memoranda of law on procedural and substantive areas of Guardianship Law, the NYS Health Care Reform Act (HCRA), and HIPAA regulations.• Work with client social workers and lead counsel to investigate potential legal and ethical violations of care on behalf of incapacitated clients, and suggest courses of action.

• Conduct advanced legal research and analysis on Guardianship Law, the NYS Health Care Reform Act (HCRA) and HIPAA regulations.• Manage client files and court filings. • Prepare and edit legal briefs and subpoenas on behalf of clients best interest. • Assist in client care investigations.

• Develop communication strategies and programs, including the design, management, and creation of content for organizational websites and social media accounts, press releases, media interviews, and speaking engagements.• Create, organize, and facilitate workshops and presentations on reproductive health and the legal and civil rights of pregnant and parenting teens throughout the United States for key stakeholders, constituents, and elected officials.• Manage a team of 10 employees and volunteers in the creation and implementation of three large community projects: (I) Develop and distribute a community needs assessment survey to 75 pregnant and parenting teens throughout the Bronx through outreach and canvassing. (II) Draft and release a report based on the analysis of survey results outlining the needs and challenges faced by pregnant and parenting teens and propose legislative and community-based solutions to: a. increase demographic access to affordable childcare and healthcare; b. improve graduation and employment rates; c. decrease teen pregnancy rates in NYC. (III) Create a coalition of organizations, NYC public school officials, and parenting teens to advocate for comprehensive sex education and Title IX protections for pregnant and parenting teens in NYC public schools.• Partner with the SOTR Executive Director to build a donor portfolio through grant selection, application preparation, donor solicitation, fundraising, and foundation reporting processes.

• Member of the Comptroller's Reproductive Health Task Force, providing quarterly updates on community initiatives to support pregnant and parenting teens.• Collaborate with reproductive health organizations throughout the NYC area to review, discuss and propose legislation impacting and protecting pregnant and parenting teens.• Provide testimony before NYC Comptroller William Thompson Jr., State Representatives, and members of the Department of Education regarding documented violations of Title IX protections for pregnant and parenting teen mothers.

• Lead the organization's afterschool literacy program for at-risk teens and pre-teens in San Francisco's Mission District. • Create personalized lesson plans for four 8th grade students each quarter with a second-grade reading level or below to increase reading comprehension and academic performance.
