- Provide job leads, job search, resume writing and interview skills assistance to current students and graduates looking for positions in the food and beverage industry - Manage a student case load of 200 or more with 25% aggressively searching for employment and 75% providing career development guidance - Give presentations to current students, graduates or prospective students on various topics to include campus/program information, career development, and industry overview - Coordinate and execute monthly hands-on cooking events for enrolled students or enthusiasts, charity, community and industry events both on and off campus, and week long summer continuing education workshops for high school teachers - Maintain partnerships with employers, teachers, community members, and organizations such as Ronald McDonald House Charities and National Restaurant Association Education Foundation - Successfully create, edit and publish a monthly school newsletter with a distribution of over 1500 copies, and a more targeted publication to 200 culinary high school teachers used to increase our in-school presentation appointments - Act as the Social Media Champion to include maintaining the local school blog and monitoring the Facebook page - Act as the Public Relations Liaison by preparing, approving and cascading to media press releases for various scholarship events, culinary competitions, charity events, and student/college successes - Act as the School Photographer at various on and off campus culinary competitions, scholarship competitions, charity events, political representative campus tours, and food and wine events - Create and maintain the auditing process for the Admissions academic files - Provide administrative support to co-workers and executive staff to include mail out campaigns, preparing and analyzing reports, and creating information databases
