I am a Director in BDO's Professional Practice office and focus primarily on audit quality and regulatory inspection support. I work directly with our public company engagement teams across the country and across a wide variety of industries to provide guidance and support on technical matters, including internal controls over financial reporting. I meet with members of management to provide insight into the regulatory environment and other audit topics in order to help them achieve their business objectives.

I previously served large public clients, including Americold Realty Trust and The Coca-Cola Company. I also served within EY's Central Region Quality Network for two years. During this time, I coached public and private Companies on various accounting and auditing topics, facilitated region wide trainings, and provided guidance and support to teams during PCAOB inspections.While serving Americold, I oversaw and managed EY’s audit of Americold’s Sarbanes-Oxley implementation. This process included identifying control gaps, working directly with the Chief Accounting Officer and Controller to ensure gaps were addressed, and testing the controls to assess the company’s internal control environment. In addition to managing the overall audit, I oversaw the significant business combination work at Americold. I also managed EY’s involvement in various filings, including Americold’s 10-K, 10-Q, S-3, S-8 as well as EY’s comfort letter procedures.At The Coca-Cola Company, I audited components of the Coca-Cola Company including the North American business, the corporate accounting group, and the consolidation/financial reporting team. The areas included were derivatives, pensions, equity related grants, investments, debt, inventory, revenue recognition, as well as a number of other topics. I also oversaw the Asia/Pacific team and the global implementation of ASC 606. I spent three months on a rotation on the Coca-Cola Brazil team in Rio de Janeiro.In addition to my experience discussed above, I have served various private clients including Euramax, Municipal Gas Authority of Georgia, and Troutman Sanders LLP. I also valued the responsibility to coach and mentor EY professionals, and was consistently awarded Counselor Excellence awards.Outside of my core responsibilities, I served as a Regional Leader for EY's signature volunteer program, College MAP (Mentoring for Access and Persistence), helping manage the program in 18 cities across the central region.
