Growing up I tended to push the limits and a lot of the time, that resulted in a trip to the ER. Sometimes though the result would just be failing badly, broken skateboards, bruises and scabs. For a long time, I thought it was because I had a daredevil complex, but the truth is that even then I had a burning desire to win/succeed. As I’ve gotten older and matured (my wife would probably jokingly tell you otherwise about the maturity) I still have that same will to win mentality that pushes me forward today. I firmly believe that success is the result of hard work and learning from failures. We’ve all heard the famous quote that insanity is doing the same thing over and over again but expecting different results. This is why I push so hard to help my customers push the envelope, get to their next step in manufacturing and come up with the right solutions, not just the easiest or cheapest.
