Critical dimensionality to .0002”, optical surface finishes, and no observable parting or flash lines delivered▪ Challenging material development repeating monthly: Sapphire, tungsten carbide, ALON (Aluminum oxynitride), Kovar, Invar, Inconel, Toughmet, custom refractory alloys & elemental metals.

Swift contracts complete airframes for organizations such as Skunk Works, NASA, and Sikorsky with advanced in-house design, manufacturing, and assembly capabilities.▪ Create complex molds, models, and rapid prototypes from model to part unaided for in-house, small-team projects such as Skunk Works X-59, Northrop Grumman MQ-4 Global Hawk, Sikorsky S-97 Raider, Sikorsky SB-1 Defiant, NASA’s HALE (High Altitude Long-Endurance UAS) and FARA (Future Attack Reconnaissance Aircraft).▪ Aid in DFM and project implementation across multiple simultaneous projects to include complete airframe manufacturing and assembly.▪ Rework all quality issues from outside vendors and quickly complete all no-bid jobs others are unwilling to attempt.▪ Materials selection spanning advanced aluminum alloys to Titanium (6Al-4V), and ‘blue block’ for high-fidelity carbon composite molds.▪ Singular onsite machinist; supported all projects.

▪ Became first and likely still only machinist in the world to successfully machine test part and deliver functional parts out of Sandvik Coromants Osprey CE6 and CE7 ultra low machinability controlled expansion silicon alloy. Extremely brittle and fragile.▪ Developed completely novel and disruptive approach to friction stir welding using only off the shelf commonly available affordable CNC Machines. Developed custom stir tool geometry for use in common 40 taper tool holders and utilized both active and passive cooling to control heat soak.
