Working on next generation Electric Trucks for PACCAR/DAF, with special interest in charging (CCS and MCS), battery performance and battery durability. Before that, I worked as a Research Engineer in Ford Motor Company. With the EV transition in Automotive Industry, I gained my expertise in Battery Cell Technology there. At Ford, I investigated possibilities for battery recycling and Li-ion battery cell analysis. My expertise is within the field of new chemical technologies, particularly regarding catalyst technology, and I have strong experience with performance studies, modelling/simulation, statistical analysis and optimization, process design, safety assessment, and project management. Furthermore, I am familiar with Matlab/Simulink, LabVIEW and Microsoft Office. In my spare time I play volleyball, do volunteering work advising on home energy savings, visualize my private home energy flows with Raspberry Pi, and like to stay up-to-date on the latest technological developments.
