In 2012, at just 8 years old, I took my first entrepreneurial step with ColeOnSports, a platform to share my sports insights through blogs, podcasts, and Instagram graphics. What began as a personal passion project soon evolved into something bigger.By 2019, after seven years of growth, I founded Phenom with a larger mission: to empower student creators like myself to share opinions and stories about professional and collegiate sports across various forms of content.Over the next three years, Phenom became a thriving platform, generating over 3,000 articles, 500+ graphics, 300+ videos, and 150+ podcasts. With over 50K followers, 30M+ views, and 3.5M+ likes, it was clear our team of rising creators was making their mark in the sports content space. In Spring 2021, I noticed a new opportunity: providing creative services like videography, photography, graphic design, and video editing to youth sports teams and athletes. This new direction proved invaluable as we began working with former teammates and local teams, confirming the demand for high-quality sports content.By Fall 2023, Phenom had fully transitioned into a content agency, connecting freelance creatives with a rapidly growing base of clients in the youth sports space.Now, in 2024, Phenom is embarking on the next phase — a two-sided marketplace that seamlessly connects sports creatives with teams and athletes, making the process of finding and hiring talent more efficient and impactful.
