20 years of experience as a team member, executive, founder and advisor working at early stage startups primarily in the B2B Enterprise SaaS space. The most fun I've had in my career are at early stage SaaS startups that are looking for PMF or are in the next stage, ready to start scaling and need GTM guidance. I've worked on and/or led teams that have scaled from 0-$5MM, $2-20MM, $10-20MM+, $20MM-$60MM+, all in high growth mode, happening in 2-4 years time. I've also failed to scale and learnt just as much from those experiences as the successes. I've shared below all of the specific stories from my career. My role included responsibilities over the entire GTM and post sales operations, including marketing, sales, account management, customer success, partnerships and revenue operations. Over the course of 18 months, we were able to grow our revenue and improve our retention rate significantly. I gained a lot of amazing experience including helping to manage our board meetings, larger discussions such as M&A strategy and so on. We hit the ground running and over the course of 3 years we scaled revenue by 8x, moved up market, grew the US team from 2 to 90 and solidified Botify as one of the Top 3 players in our space. As we had success in the US, I was able to gain experience globally, taking over sales efforts in our existing offices in the UK and France as well as opening another office in Seattle. We moved up market, increasing average contract size by 10x, we developed and went to market with new products, opened up new geographic markets and improved retention significantly. I was fortunate to gain my first experience in fundraising and working more closely with a world class engineering and product team to develop the platform further. -
