Platoon Leader (Founder & President, Cincinnati Chapter)The Mission Continues Oct 2020 - Jul 2022St. Louis, Mo, UsTMC is a national 501(c)3 connecting military veterans with new missions of community service. I was elected to be the Cincinnati Platoon Leader, one of 50+ spanning Washington to Puerto Rico. Starting with only a vision that was planned in the Service Leadership Corps, I was awarded numerous grants to complete a one year contract. I launched the new platoon to help places of child learning within the Tri-State vicinity. Within 18 months, the platoon grew to 130+ affiliate volunteers plus a leadership staff of seven chief officers completing 22+ projects, socials and activities. We won prime time television news publicity of our activities on ABC affiliate WCPO 9 Presidents’ Day, 2022, with Emmy Award Winning Journalist Craig McKee. We were also praised in the City Hall by the Mayor of Cincinnati. To accomplish this, I directed regular stakeholder meetings with chief officers, squad leaders, leading the general chat to plan future projects while also keeping minutes of each discussion. Managed financial budget of each event. Delegated project purchases. Negotiated great deals to benefit the community. -
