Known for his passion, drive, and enthusiasm, Dr. Adam Feit specializes in high-performance consulting and teaching within the areas of coaching education, sport psychology, strength and conditioning, and nutrition. Prior to joining Springfield College in 2021, Adam served as a Curriculum Developer and Head Strength and Sport Psychology Coach for Precision Nutrition, the largest nutrition coaching, certification, and software company in the world. In his 5+ years at Precision Nutrition, Adam created and instructed continuing education programs for health and fitness professionals, specializing in the domains of deep health, change psychology, dietary coaching strategies, and elite athlete nutrition.Adam brings almost 20 years of coaching experience to Springfield College with a multitude of youth, collegiate, Olympic, and professional athletic teams including the Buffalo Bills, Calgary Flames, Brooklyn Nets, and USA Olympic teams. Adam has also served as a collegiate and professional strength and conditioning coach and nutrition coordinator for the NFL's Carolina Panthers, Eastern Michigan University, University of Louisville, and The Citadel.As a business owner, Adam was the Co-founder and Director of Sports Performance for Reach Your Potential Training Inc. (RYPT), helping mentor and train over 5,000 youth athletes over the course of five years. He now owns and operates TF Performance LLC, an athlete-centered, family-driven, coaching and consulting company based in western Massachusetts.Adam holds a PhD in Sport and Exercise Psychology and now serves as Assistant Professor of Exercise Science at Springfield College. Adam is certified by the National Strength & Conditioning Association (NSCA) as a Registered Strength and Conditioning Coach and a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist. He is also a certified Strength and Conditioning Coach and Mentor from the Collegiate Strength and Conditioning Coaches Association. In addition to his strength and conditioning certifications, he is also a Certified Mental Performance Consultant through the Association of Applied Sport Psychology.He is the co-author of the Coaches Guide to Jump Training, Complete Guide to Training the Female Athlete, and currently serves as the Massachusetts State Director for the NSCA.
