Google provides a highly scalable cloud based solutions to enable these organizations to effectively manage large fleet of devices.I built the engineering organization for enterprise device management from ground up since 2011. Currently I am managing an engineering organization with 30+ software engineers working on enterprise cloud management for ChromeOS devices for schools and businesses.In 2015, Chromebooks surpassed all operating systems and became the top selling devices by US K-12 schools. Today, our team runs a major technical infrastructure for US education, and on an annual basis, more than 50% new computing device purchases of US K-12 school are Chromebooks managed by the system we built.

The project has been shipped to external customers in Q1 2010. The support of billing and payment of the marketplace was rolled out in Q4 2010.

    During this period, my team and I developed a system to handle payment, ordering and license for applications. The platform supported flexible pricing, subscription models, and payment methods. It was also integrated with finance and accounting system for revenue recognition needs.I started the project as one of the two tech-leads of the team, and ramped the team to 9 engineers. By the time we transitioned to the project to Google Checkout and Google enterprise teams, the project had gone from zero revenue to processing revenue to virtually all apps including Google Apps Communication and Collaboration suite, Google Apps Security and Compliance suite, Gmail, Picasa, Google Voice, Google App Engine, and Google Apps Marketplace.
