Titus 2:6-8 "Likewise, urge the younger men to be self-controlled. Show yourself in all respects to be a model of good works, and in your teaching show integrity, dignity, and sound speech that cannot be condemned, so that an opponent may be put to shame, having nothing evil to say about us."Everyday I strive to live up to the words in that verse; to transform the lives of the young men God has entrusted to my care; to inspire them to greatness. I remind myself that I have a short time to influence their lives and help them discover their place in the Kingdom of God. I have roughly the same amount of time with these athletes as Jesus had with the Apostles and His love for them inspired them to radically change the world. My daily goal is to capture the heart behind the jersey..that they all be honorable men with hearts committed to radically change the world for the Glory of God! Furthermore, it is my goal to help them understand that they play a significant role on the loves of everyone they meet. People matter, whether or not they share your beliefs, your passions, or your ideals. The command to Love your Neighbor as you love yourself has no exceptions. My job is not to judge or condemn but rather, to love everyone God puts in my life and help them realize their significance. To Transform lives through love!I seek opportunities to transform lives both on and off the athletic field. I have a passion for teaching the game and for organizing the daily operations of the program, more important than that however, is I have a passion to transform lives and teach them how to become life changers themselves. With these passions, I am continually seeking opportunities to to make a difference. There is nothing glamorous about what I do nor is there any special gift, you just have to love people.
