Don Currie is one of this country’s most recognized and credentialed shotgun coaches and gunfitters in the sporting shotgun and game shooting disciplines. He is also the Chief Instructor of the National Sporting Clays Association (NSCA), award-winning author, consultant and on-air guest. Don is the founder of the Academy of Wing & Clay Shooting LLC, a national champion in side-by-side shotgun, a Master Class competitor in shotgun sports, an NSCA Level III certified instructor and is a former Orvis Wingshooting and Fly Fishing School Instructor. Enhancing his value as a coach, Don is a Master Gunfitter, so named by James Purdey & Sons (London, UK), and regularly optimizes a shooters performance for well-known shotgun brands such as Perazzi, Beretta, Krieghoff and Purdey. In his trademark relaxed style, Don teaches and coaches his students to extraordinary levels of performance whether they are clay shooting novices, advanced competitors or game shooters.
