About Coach Dori O'Rourke
I've always been about coaching, training, and empowering men and women to get and stay active for life. I believe in challenging the conventional wisdom and traditional approaches in coaching and beliefs about aging, in particular, the belief that we all must accept an "inevitable" physical decline as we age. Instead, I believe that the body is a healing machine and anyone can move better, get stronger, improve their balance, breathing, and cardio. Currently, I'm CEO of ACTIVE after 50, a network of websites that focuses on helping 50+ men and women Stay ACTIVE for Life™. Our AA50 network includes a Director, Programs, Library, Store, and Corporate Home. I'm also an LPGA teaching pro and have had the great pleasure of coaching thousands of men and women golfers of all levels for the past 30+ years. I've created a revolutionary and highly-effective technique for teaching golf that I call "REAL Golf Improvement". It has completely changed the way my clients swing, play, and practice.
