My name is Jerald “J”Scott” Scott, aka The Amputee Trainer. I was born and raised in Houston, Texas. I grew a love for the game of basketball at an early age, and continued that love all the way to college when I received an academic scholarship to The University Of Texas at Austin. Despite attending UT on an academic scholarship, I was afforded the opportunity to also play and train alongside some top notable players and trainers. After college, I played several years of semi professional basketball, and was invited to several European and other professional level opportunities. However, a tragic accident ended all possibilities of me playing professionally. Now I dedicate my time to provide the knowledge and education I acquired along the way to others, so that they may have a better chance of succeeding in life and sports. My favorite saying is, “What happens to you is not always for you. It is for everyone else to become inspired through what you been through and give hope to others that they can achieve anything with hard work…”I am looking to connect with others to guide me and assist me in enhancing my ability to help other players increase their skills. Whether it be in training or helping get players college or professional opportunities... I just want to provide value!
