Joined at commencement of project stage of this grass root plant of VAM ORGANICS (new name Jubliant Organosys) Group at Savli, near Baroda, to manufacture Choline Chloride & Choline Dichloride, (Ethylene Oxide derivatives). Plant was successfully commissioned in Feb'97 and commercial production started from March'97. Technology was supplied by M/s DUCOA (a Du Pont and Con Agra joint jv co.) and detailed engineering was done by M/s KTI (a Mannesmann Group Co.).

Worked as Production Engineer and later as Senior Production Engineer in Vinyl Chloride Monomer Plant. Responsibilities : • Operations in shifts, coordination with maintenance, quality control.• Checking of shift quality reports and making necessary changes in process to meet the quality norms.• Subsequently posted in Technical Services Department. Responsible for VCM plant monitoring w.r.t. production and quality parameters.• Customer complaints.• Plant modifications - to improve yield/quality and to lower cost etc.
