Gendon services a wide variety of markets including oil & gas, energy, military, transportation and aerospace.Key responsibilities include:• Performed monthly accounting transactions and month end closings on a timely basis • Overseen payroll, accounts payable and accounts receivable functions• Prepared general ledger entries and reconciliations• Monitor costs and provide variance analysis• Assist controller with corporate reports and budgeting process• Improve processes and maintain internal controls• Perform tasks related to company employment retirement plan

• Responsibilities include planning, running, and supervising audit mandates for privately held companies, not for profit organizations and public service organizations. • Complete complex accounting work on assurance and accounting projects.• Delegate, review and revise the work of junior accountants to ensure that mandates are completed on time.• Preparation of corporate tax returns for Canadian controlled private corporations, public service sector clients and personal tax returns.• Coordinating and communicating important issues with clients, managers and partners.• Assist clients with transition to Accounting Standards for Private Enterprises.• Review audit clients internal controls for weaknesses and make recommendations for improvements.
