I'm senior editor at Brainstorm Force, the company behind the Astra WordPress theme, SureCart, SureMembers, SureTriggers and many other products.My role involves editing content for publication across all company blogs, emails, outreach content and many areas of marketing. I'm responsible for helping develop writers, training and mentoring, following trends for engagement, style and more.More recently, there has been an AI component to my work, creating content using ChatGPT and Google Bard, editing AI content for publishing and devising ways to detect AI content submitted for guest posts. It's a new frontier in content and something I enjoy exploring.I also assist with content strategy, managing the content team, working with Start Infinity and generally assisting the company as a whole. As the company is based in India, I work predominantly with non-English speakers and I would now say helping those for whom English is a second language is one of my superpowers.

I am a copywriter, blogger and web content editor at Coastal Content with over a decade of experience. I specialise in digital content and technical copy and write on a wide variety of subjects for clients across the world. I work with businesses of all shapes and sizes to produce quality content whatever the brief. Having clients all over the world, I adapt quickly to a range of styles and requirements to deliver the content they want, how they want it.

My role was Dedicated Services Technician, providing 2nd line support to National Grid emergency call centres, critical infrastructure, networks and server farms. My technical responsibilities included managing Windows servers, Cisco routers, inbound call centres, communications links and a fledgling VoIP network. I was SC cleared for the period of this employment.I spent a lot of my time writing technical documentation, training material, user guides and producing customer facing documentation. This was the catalyst for branching out into copywriting.

I was a VoD Engineer for the Movies on Demand platform and played a pivotal role in launching the product in the UK. I worked with the supplier to deliver and support the system, train staff to support the product and assist with all aspects of the launch. Once live, I provided 1st and 2nd line support to the system and supported the rollout acrioss the UK. This involved a lot of project work and tight deadlines which gave me experience I would use later in my career.I also produced all the training material, system documentation, presentations and other written media to support the product and users.

I worked as a Voice Network Engineer, monitoring and maintaining Nortel switches, Cisco routers and an ICM platform. I began as a 1st line call-handler and worked my way up to become a NOC engineer. The role involved monitoring voice and network switches, Windows servers, fault handling, dealing with engineers and anything necessary to keep data flowing across an enterprise network. Tasks included switch maintenance and monitoring, working with engineers, third-parties, visiting sites and getting hands-on.I also delivered supporting documentation, training guides, managed an intranet site, internal promotional material, announcements and departmental newsletters.

I worked with the Benefit Payment and Security Team assessing claims, for a wide range of state benefits. I visited clients in their homes, helped complete benefit claims and investigated suspected fraud.
