I started in the maintenance department where I was responsible for the daily maintenance of the complete plant, dealing with contractors helping out in production, solving problems that arose. I also help out in the quality department and when required to go to site and give technical advise and solve problems there, Part of my daily duties is to help with technical problems and design of new products and design of new machines. Part of my duties are health and Safety, as I am the company's Health and Safety Officer where it is my responsibility to design and implement the health and safety system. I am responsible for pressure testing of our fittings if and when customers require it, I am responsible for onsite problem solving and training of contractors on the correct method of instillation and have travelled abroad several time to train and assist with problems on instillation. I am involved in product development wear out of the box thinking was required for several situation and I am very good with problem solving, I am a analytical thinker that can resolve problems before they happen. I am PC literate with word, power point and more. I am part of a team that looks in the redesign and change of work stations to improve on time reduction of manufacturing and improvement of production output. At the moment I am studying towards my diploma as a Plant Engineer with the prospect of taking over the QC department and fully taking control of the maintenance department, I am responsible for product training and design of new products as well as design and change of the plant.

I started in the processing plant where I worked as an operator and from there moved to Maintenance, I worked in this department for 5 years and studied to complete my trade as a maintenance fitter, I was promoted to Site Superintendent at the Johannesburg branch where I was responsible for all day to day operations. In this time I studied towards a Production manager diploma.
