Built windows desktop application in VB6 which controls an automated, lumber-cutting, machine which optimizes, cuts, and prints detailed layouts on lumber. Named inventor and creator of a front-end desktop application in VB6 to a MS SQL Server database back end called Sawpoint. Sawpoint is used to optimize, schedule, and track cutting of lumber materials. Sawpoint also used optimization algorithms to self-reconcile real-time inventory versus cutting usage as an automated inventory management system.
