Hi, my name is Coby May. I am currently a Senior in Colorado Mesa’s Davis school of Business studying to obtain my Sports Management degree and minoring in athletic coaching/officiating and business administration as well. I find this word of prudence as a great representation of myself and my ability to take each step in life. The word prudence applies to me as the definition of it is the ability to govern or discipline oneself. In my many roles as a Senior Supervisor with Rogue Security, a Cashier at Home Depot, a guide at RZA adventures, and a kicker for the CMU football team I often have to utilize this word prudence to represent myself as such, as I seek to be seen. Knowing how much courage and how much humility it takes in order to do each job and applying the same concept to other qualities it takes to be successful in all roles I apply myself to. The wide range of experiences have broadened my horizon to understanding the lack of complexity there is. Often times in spite of feeling the need to do the most in all aspects, rather than just getting the job done to the best for your ability in that present moment. I have learned said ability time and time again in my experiences, setting up fundraisers for the football team, assisting in film, creating a website for companies, all the way down to cleaning up or other misnomer activities that simply need to get done because some one has to get it done even if the job might not entail it. Applying that to myself, and then equipping myself with the proper experiences to then have the proper level of prudence I seek to improve constantly in my daily life and my ability to accomplish whatever is set out in front of me. Ready to be completed to the best of my ability with all ten toes standing behind the actions I do which is why I know that prudence represents me and my ability to get the job done as I gain knowledge and experiences momentarily.
