Demonstrated entrepreneurship in various self-directed projects and developed a specialty in innovation.My artwork takes many forms, and I’m committed to exploring different media, expanding my experiences, and learning as many different techniques, styles, and technologies as possible. Drawing sparked my interest in art, but I've spent the recent years of my practice broadening my artistic capacity — landing on fashion as my current focus and true passion. I appreciate the process of creating as a starting point and view open-mindedness and curiosity as my most valuable tools. I’ve learned different techniques in classes, but also from sustained investigations and from other artists. I find myself creating through a process of trial and error, asking questions, and learning. I am inspired by sustainability, the art of repurposing materials to recreate wearable pieces, furniture, and jewelry. My curiosity and vision push me to consider unexpected designs and function which strengthens my artistic language and parallels my innovative approach. My fascination with creating has introduced me to the industry’s ever-evolving culture. In absorbing all that my future has to offer, I wish to sharpen my vision while finding my footing in the art industry.
