Coca Xie is a Chinese American entertainment producer and TV host. She’s the first Chinese producer and host to ever work in a major American news organization. (The Wrap). Her career started off with a bang, hosting the Chinese Grammies in the Beijing Gongti Stadium stage in 2010. She won the hosting competition with 260,000 votes at the age of 18, making her the youngest person ever to host the event.While getting her Master’s Degree in Journalism at USC, Coca’s career carried on; she hosted the Hollywood entertainment show “Hollywood at Your Doorstep”, which boasted over 30 million views worldwide. The show offered a fresh platform on which established and new stars could expand their audience into China both virtually and directly. The stars, including Taylor Swift, Ian Somerholder, and Nina Dobrev, were flown to Beijing & Shanghai to connect with their massive Chinese fan bases.Coca also has an impressive social media following - 12.1k followers on Instagram and over 15k fans on Weibo, China's top social media platform.
