The lot I comprises the first 85 kilometers.Project cost: 600,000,000 Euro Contractor: BOUYGUES Bâtiment & SOGEA SATOM (Joint Venture)Supervisor: SNC LAVALINOwner: Equatorial Guinean GovernmentI had to:- Assist GE Proyectos (Equatorial Guinean Institution in charge of planning, funding and procurement of Civil Engineering Public Infrastructures) as member of SNC Lavalin team, during the contractor procurement stage: draft contract, draft technical specifications, review the contractors proposals …- Contribute to Increase SNC Lavalin collaboration with GE Proyectos and work very closely with GE Proyectos during the project lifecycle;- Review and approve the design, drawings and the motorway structure calculations;- Oversee geotechnical survey carried out to locate materials prior to Earthworks;- Review and approve bill of quantities submitted by Contractor;- Check and approve bituminous mixture and asphaltic concrete mix design;- Review and approve structure calculations and drawings of: * 4 bridges (4 span-bridge, 50m of total span) and * 3 double cell culverts (2 x 4m x 3m and 50m long) submitted for approval by the contractor;- Review and approve methodology submitted by the contractor prior to any work of earthwork or pavement;- Manage teams in charge of overseeing works on site;- Review and approve interim statement;- Verify completion of milestones by contractors prior to payment,- Contribute to monthly report on works progress- Supervise and organize technical works delivery and maintenance required prior to final project delivery.
