Besides being a real estate strategist, she is a committed Chinatown homeowner, a passionate urban gardener, a prolific ceramicist with a new shop in the Central Plaza - China Garden & Ceramics. Before arriving to downtown Los Angeles and investing in real estate, Coco worked abroad in project management in Germany, and business development in Shanghai. Over the past fifteen years, she has transitioned from real estate analysis and sales to Head of Acquisitions at Gilmore China Group, guiding the firm's procurement of real estate in Los Angeles’ historic Chinatown. Shortly after becoming partner at the Gilmore China Group, she organized crucial acquisitions such as the iconic ToCo Haus, the MeiMei Lou building, and Ling’s Market. Leading Asset Management for the Chinatown portfolio, she is responsible for a wide variety of product types including mixed-use, retail, residential, SRO, and creative office space. One of her most satisfying achievements was becoming a resident and integral part of the Chinatown community, expanding her personal and professional commitment to the neighborhood. Preserving the architecture and way of life in this neighborhood is Coco's priority, while ensuring future sustainable growth and commercial vitality.
