My name is Socorro, but I go by the nickname Coco. I grew up in Florida and attended college in Georgia – now I live in beautiful Savannah, Georgia. I grew up in a Mexican American household where we primarily speak Spanish. Growing up I loved adventure and used to go camping and explore the outdoors. Adventure followed me into my professional career as I was able to travel the world on business trips and meet incredible people. I have traveled to: Mexico, Colombia, Brazil, Guatemala, Costa Rica, Panama, El Salvador, Dominican Republic, Trinidad and Tobago, Honduras, Paraguay, Chile, Ecuador, and Bolivia. I am hoping to continue to travel and explore the world. I currently work at Financial Aid Services as their Account Executive, Director of Campus Partnerships. Our mission is to empower colleges and universities to strengthen financial operations, optimize enrollment and enhance the student experience. My focus is on the southern part of the US as I speak to new clients about their Financial aid needs and how we can help!I love being around people that allow me to be ME and push me to be the best version of myself. I have such amazing mentors that have helped shape my professionalism. I am a hardworking, dedicated, and passionate individual that strives to create a healthy work culture anywhere I go. As a lifelong learner, I hope to continue to learn and grow in the education and business industry.
