I opened Red Rooster Cafe when I was just 23 years old- a baby. My grandfather had a rental property with a Quizno's on it that went out of business. He rented me the old sandwich shop, my dad co-signed on a bank loan, and my mom and I went to work on recipes. A few months later, I was a legitimate business owner and a happy recipient of all that came with it. 9 years later, it was time to move on. I sold the restaurant to my dear friend and general manager, Frederik McKnight, in April of 2019. He and his wife, Jamilia are running the restaurant with their 2 teenagers and new baby.
