As a Senior Software Engineer/Architect I am supporting agile adoption and technology migration to .Net, ServiceFabric and Angular.

Working with Chivaune Technologies Australia to develop a medical electronics workshop repair and calibration management system. Built using Asp.Net 8, Bootstrap and EF Core, version 4 of the application is hosted on Microsoft Azure as an App Service Container and Azure Database for MySql. An automated CI/CD pipeline, including automated unit testing and static code analysis, has been implemented using Azure DevOps and Docker Hub.

As a Technical Lead/Scrum Master I supported agile adoption, cloud adoption and continuous improvement across 12 development teams, including implementing best practices such as Continuous Integration, Deployment and Unit Testing. I developed a transversal Authentication and Authorisation application that integrates with the corporate SSO and User Entitlements systems using ASP. Net Core, SQL Server and IdentityServer4. And I also had the role of Senior Software Developer on the "SENSE" project, a asset management research tool developed using .Net Core, ReactJS and MS SQL Server.

Developed: an extensible framework for their core “Vision” system; a MAF framework for their “Experience” application platform; and supporting the development departments move to Scrum, which also includes implementing agile best practices such as CI and Unit Testing. The development activity utilise a number of technologies including C#, WPF and ASP .Net, Unity, Mvvm and MAF.

University of Chichester Prototyping a “Modern UI” for searching the University's Prism library management system. Originally prototyped in HTML5 for Windows 8, then converted to a C# WPF application to run on Windows 7, it is currently a Windows 8.1 “Assigned Access” HTML5 application. The prototype also includes an ASP.NET MVC4 configuration website and a Web API messaging service that supports email and sms. International Network for Quality Assurance Agencies in Higher Education A member of the INQAAHE working group solely responsible for developing the technical specification for the QAHEC project. The project delivered a website that provides a search service for higher education quality assurance policies and standards from around the world. Spielo International Led the performance testing of the current systems and developed a unit testing framework using C#, MSTest and Rhino. Mocks. Provided guidance on the transition to the Scrum agile development framework including design patterns, continuous integration and test driven development.

Instrumental in delivering an equity portfolio management solution that was rated in an audit, second best internally developed system. The application was built using C#, WinForms, WPF, Oracle 10g and NHibernate, with modules to calculate portfolio positions, position changes reporting, and rolling of futures. This project used a classic agile approach with the solution being developed in multiple releases. The portfolio management system was designed to aggregate the data from disparate systems, including Decalog, and present the positions back to fund managers. The application provided more timely and accurate data than its predecessor, reducing risk and allowing portfolio managers to make more informed decisions.

Responsible for all aspects of ICT for the engineering project office. Including the implementation, administration and support of a Cisco based Windows network for 40 staff; development of the office intranet using C#, ASP .NET, SharePoint and SQL Server 2005; production of ICT budget estimates (~ £3.25m) for both the project office and aluminium refinery; and the development and implementation of ICT policies and procedures.

Performed a number of roles including: decommissioning the legacy Queensland Ambulance Services (QAS) and the Queensland Fire and Rescue Service (QFRS) dispatch systems. Consolidating and archiving historic data in accordance with the Public Records and Freedom of Information acts, reducing the time taken to respond to requests for information; developing an operational reporting system and Intranet, using SQL Server Reporting Services, C#, ASP .NET, AJAX and JavaScript which allowed for the efficient allocation of emergency service resources; the re-development of a corporate administration system using C# .Net and the Scrum development framework; and developing ETL functions for the QAS and QFRS dispatch systems in preparation for the implementation of a new joint emergency services system using a mixture of SQL Server, MS Access and Excel.
