CurrentVideo Engineering- Develop and optimize OTT streaming solutions for VOD and live streaming, ensuring seamless, high-quality video delivery across multiple platforms.- Implement video transcoding workflows using FFmpeg and AWS Elemental MediaConvert, balancing video quality with efficient processing and storage.- Manage video packaging processes with tools like FFmpeg, USP Packager, and AWS Elemental MediaPackage, ensuring playback compatibility across diverse environments.- Apply DRM encryption to secure video content, aligning with industry standards to protect digital assets.Backend Development:- Build and maintain backend systems with Node.js and Java focusing on high performance, security, and reliability.- Design and implement RESTful APIs and microservices, enabling scalable and maintainable applications.- Integrate backend systems with AWS services, optimizing solutions for scalability and operational efficiency.Cloud Infrastructure & DevOps:- Support the development of CI/CD pipelines, automating testing and deployment processes to streamline workflows.- Leverage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform and CloudFormation to manage and automate cloud infrastructure.- Optimize cloud resources, ensuring high availability and performance while controlling operational costs.Collaboration & Problem Solving:- Partner with cross-functional teams, including frontend developers, DevOps engineers, and stakeholders, to deliver cohesive and integrated solutions.- Engage in troubleshooting and optimizing video pipelines and backend systems, reducing downtime and enhancing overall performance.- Continuously learn and adopt new technologies, expanding video streaming and backend service capabilities.
