I am a programmer by day.I am a spanner monkey by choice.I am a grumpy old man who has seen too much.My first compute experience was '81. I've run the gamit from basic & [6502] assembler to full-stack, multi-component services in kubernetes clusters. There's always more details to wrap your head around. It always hurts my brain.I went to my first motorsport event in 1994. My love is cross country motorsports.I have been on club committees and national committees, and breathed rule books.I've got better.... but I still compete.I am not a code monkey: Monkey's fiddle with things, get easily distracted, chitter, .... and get paid peanuts.
