Member of the Global Operations organization, with major focus on the Merging & Acquisition activities. Merging & Acquisition is the key driver for the growth strategy of Sensata Technologies. In the past 10 years several (parts of) companies were acquired. Sensata applies the so called Best Cost Producer Strategy and the new acquired Product lines are assessed against these strategy. This leads occasionally to the decision to close and/or move the Production and related Infrastructure to an existing Sensata BCP site. I'm leading this process and have the overall responsibility for an efficient and smooth execution. Major tasks are, defining the overall plan, organization, preparation and execution of the plan within the defined quality - service and costs objectives. This is done in the projected time frame for projects in several geographical areas as Mexico, China, USA, Czech Republic, Bulgaria, Ireland and Germany. Part of the process is a "Best Landed Cost Model" developed by me to support the BCP strategy.

In 1997 TI has taken the decision to concentrate the worldwide production in so called Best Cost Producer locations. I was responsible for the execution of this strategy in Europe for the Sensors & Controls Europe Division. In this role I have set up a new production location in Hungary in 1998. Moved production lines out of Almelo (Netherlands) and Aversa (Italy) into Hungary. Closed the location in Aversa and the production organization in Almelo. Moved several production lines into China, Mexico, Korea and Malaysia. Responsible for Cost - Quality - Service in Hungary.

Till 1997 TI manufactured Sensors and Control products in Almelo. I was responsible for this production , including the supporting departments as Manufacturing Engineering, Repair & Maintenance and Project Management. During this period the organization was restructured in Product Management Teams , according the World Class model. Also in this period the implementation of Total Productive Manufacturing and 5S is completed.
