My responsibilities here were severalfold: As a senior developer, I worked with some of the best designers and developers in Colorado to create award-winning websites and products, particularly in eCommerce. I spent a large part of my time on animation and interaction dev - but I also have heavy proficiency in back-end technologies, and deployed a number of global-market applications and APIs on WordPress and Laravel.As a team lead, I was responsible for a team of 2-5 developers - I managed resourcing, training, code quality, conflict resolution, and enabled tangible short- and long-term goal achievement within my team. I also took the lead in writing and refining our department's processes and code standards.In addition to my primary responsibilities, I often wore a Technical Project Manager hat - where I directly fostered client relationships, supported account growth with my technical expertise, and iterated projects in a SCRUM-flavored workflow.

Maintained front-end ownership of sites and applications for national clients using bleeding-edge technology, with a focus on standards-first development: cross-platform compatibility, accessibility, and responsive methodology above all else. SVN/Git and Grunt were our best friends in creating cross-platform portability, and SASS/LESS, Bootstrap, and Require were constant fixtures in the development and deployment processes. Many other tools and libraries also starred as projects called for them - gained experience with several CMS applications, KnockoutJS, Backbone, Angular, Raphael for SVG, and Kinetic/Konva for Canvas.

Managed all aspects of GeniusRocket's web presence. This began with a full-scale transition/rebuild of GeniusRocket's website from Python/Django to PHP, to facilitate faster to-market deployment of time-sensitive content and site features, as well as more flexible administration and interaction between client, artist, and submission. GeniusRocket had a heavy focus on accessible user-submitted online media: rich text, image, and video on both desktop and mobile. Several additional tools and features were developed to facilitate this focus, and administrate and deploy content quickly and universally without the use of flash.

Versatile website construction and management:Deploying sites on out-of-the-box CMS applications such as Wordpress and Concrete5 - full development of CMS-enabled templates from PSD design, development of rich interactive features using the newest HTML5, CSS3, and Javascript technologies, and augmentation of CMS structure through core modifications and from-scratch plugins.Organic management and modernization of existing client sites, introducing new technologies and updating old features and tools as technologies develop further.Also includes the development and management of Non-CMS or custom CMS sites, including structural optimization and security for client-side editors such as Adobe Contribute.All projects introduced and executed on rapid deadlines, facilitated and managed through Agile methodologies.

Website Management: Content updates, tool development. Handled task-oriented development and management of the website involving php, css, and xml - built and troubleshot sophisticated management tools for website application (e,g. dynamic management of student council positions, profiles, and photos). Also gained extensive training and experience with Hannon Hill's Cascade CMS, and ran end-user support for said system.

Product Implementation: placed vinyl for large-format printing jobs, worked with vector-based graphics for wall-sized prints, worked with large roadside signs (carving, painting, finishing, gold foil, installation), gained experience installing vinyl vehicle wraps (sedans, SUVs, and transport trucks). Became very familiar with image formats and applications, and learned advertising standards/practices and strategies.
