Developed and implemented full lifecycle solutions for Path customers on the Microsoft stack and managed their hybrid Azure/on-premises infrastructure. I was responsible for architecting, developing, and managing web-based solutions requiring ASP.net, SQL Server, Umbraco, and Kentico.

For example, we began utilizing BizTalk 2006 to streamline many of our previously manual processes. I worked with managers and developers to aid in the completion of a major overhaul of the client’s technical infrastructure. The goal of the overhaul was to modernize many of their mission critical operations, in such a way that it would eliminate their dependence on legacy mainframe applications. The systems developed were: Corporate Tax: 💫 Data Translator - This system consisted of a scheduler component which would generate data detail files in flat file format, then process a series of reports relating to sales, construction, 1099-MISC, and 1099-INT. In order to provide the best cost to benefit ratio, I developed the system to utilize SQL Server Reporting Services reports, which I converted into Excel, which finally converted back into text format for distribution to the end user. The latter two conversions were developed as a web service (C#) in order to promote reuse in other initiatives. 💫 Web Site – This system provides a means for FNF personnel to search for information pertaining to construction escrow, subsidiaries, and offices. Application developed in n-tier ASP.net (VB)💫 NBU: Developed search form in VB.net, which enabled users to search for information relating to the various FNF business units. This was accomplished by writing one dynamic stored procedure and of course, the various tabs of fields which feed the search criteria to the database.

I worked with solution architects and developers to aid in the completion of a major rebuild to the client's business management system. The system utilized a custom framework developed by Encore which broke the vital components of development into their own separate classes (Data Access, Business Entities, Business Rules, User Interface Persistence, and User Interface). I worked on the following components:💫 Notes: A C# class which is to be utilized by a considerable portion of the framework. The user control was developed in such a way that the user could simply call a new instance of the user control and set a property, at which point it would enumerate all notes relating to a particular entity in the application. This of course, also included an interface for reading existing notes and adding new notes.💫 TDI - Tax Debt Instruments: This portion of the application included a series of forms, user controls, and reporting services reports to define tax related information regarding securities and/or accounts.

💫 Developed content manager that ameliorated their means for managing publications in ASP.net (with SQL Server backend and Javascript).💫 Developed decision support system to assist with the management of the organization during periods of winter weather. 💫 Developed high-end custom solutions with Visual Basic, Javascript, Cold Fusion, ASP (VB Script), ASP.Net, SQL Server 2000, Oracle 8i / 9i, ADO/ADO.Net, and VB.net and a multitude of third-party ActiveX components.💫 Served as backup network administrator of Windows and Unix systems💫 Provided training to government IT staff.💫 Developed a system, called webQBE (query by example), that provided users with point and click access to all of the data stored in the data sources at DSCP, regardless of platform. In other words, the program would translate SQL statements into the appropriate formation. The solution was a Visual Basic activeX control.💫 Became the local “.Net Framework advocate,” in that I learned the intricacies of the technology and then went about recommending ways that it would be beneficial to the organization. 💫 Served as project leader on most development efforts. Vast WAN consisted of dozens of UNIX (primarily Sun Solaris [Sparc] and AIX) servers, several CISCO 8500s, and the rest of the hardware required to support such an operation.
