Code the South (a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization) is a volunteer-driven organization that specializes in building software and technology solutions for our community.Code the South was incorporated on April 27, 2016 in the State of Alabama as a non-profit corporation.

I was a contracted to work on a web application with Hexagon Safety and Infrastructure.

During my time here, I have programmed the network equipment at each school to maximize network bandwidth, troubleshot and maintained servers running various versions of Windows Server, and troubleshot bandwidth issues using the iPerf network testing tool.

I was contracted by the DeKalb County Board of Education to do set up and repaired school PC’s and troubleshoot network problems. During my time as a contractor I was able to automate the following small tasks:• Developed an application to quickly get a computer's MAC address during initial setup• Created PowerShell scripts to simplify creating and managing multiple Active Directory users.

I was given the privilege of working as an Independent Contractor through the Microsoft Student Partner program. During my time as a Senior Student Partner I was able to do the following:• Performed product testing using the latest and newest professional grade equipment• Advertised the latest Microsoft technologies through various presentations• Coordinated and interacted with colleges and students about Microsoft technologies.

As an intern I was given the opportunity to design a Digital Data Repository for storage of all corporate documentation. The technologies chosen to build this project included C#, ASP.NET, XHTML, CSS, and XML. This project gave me a chance to expand my programming skillset and my problem solving skills.
