In the grinding department my duties are to cut ceramic parts to there desired size and measure them using micrometers to ensure that they are to within tolerance, at the moment I am trained on the outside diameter centerless grinder to cut our circular parts to size and the Blachard surface grinder to cut parts to size. I also operate HAAS and DMG MORI CNC machines and am training to set up and program them.

I am currently working for Harris Corporation as a production operator. In the silvering department my daily duties were putting silver infused ceramic on lead parts that are used for electronic components. To do this I either use machines that screen the silver onto the parts, use hand screens and apply the silver on the parts manually, or dip the parts into the silver. After the silver is applied I clean off the excess silver with chemicals, some parts need to have silver sand blasted off in certain areas and to do this we have a sand blaster that we program with specific measurements to take off silver. After the parts are cleaned we load them into kilns to bake and infuse the ceramic silver to the lead parts. Once they are done baking and cooled off we log them out of our department and send them to the next department.

Stock all product in backroom shelves and pull all product from backroom that had been purchased and stocked it on sales floor.

Process all incoming and outgoing mail as well as kept all patient records filed and stored both electronically and physically for billing team.

Stack all product needed from an order sticker on pallets, wrap pallets and drop them off at loading dock to be shipped out.
