I am an ASL interpreter working mainly in the education system, but I also do a variety of community interpreting. By education, I am a linguist. I have a BA in Spanish and an MA in Spanish Linguistics. I am currently pursuing a second MA in Linguistics to prepare for matriculation to a Linguistics PhD programI enjoy studying linguistics and learning about language. My research interests include language variation and change, sociolinguistics, dialectology, forensic linguistics, and discourse analysis. I am interested in exploring those topics in Spanish, ASL, and English.
