I am currently a middle school special education teacher. I have experience in teaching a specialized math program called Do The Math Now, which targets student deficits in multiplication, division and fraction fundamentals. I have experience teaching regular education and special education. I taught seventh grade reading for two years, then switched to special education. Throughout my time in special education, I have had the opportunity to teach in co-taught and resources settings, as well as multiple grade levels and subject areas. I began my educational journey at Georgia Highlands Community College where I earned my associate’s degree. I attended Kennesaw State University, where I earned my bachelor’s degree in middle grades education. I am currently working towards my Master’s degree in Integrated Curriculum with a focus in Special Education through American College of Education.
