Led the strategic direction of Gamma Iota Sigma, growing the network of students pursing careers in the insurance industry to over 5,000, a 500% increase since becoming the first employee of GIS in 2011, while overhauling the organization’s programmatic core and establishment of best practices for engagement, communication and stewardship with faculty and student leaders. Implemented exposure and outreach initiatives to drive diversification of student disciplines entering the industry. Oversaw the successful creation of GammaSAID, (Solutions for Authenticity, Inclusion and Diversity) which presents the student perspective on all matters of D&I and has provided critical interactive content for both GIS events, national conferences, and the Global Dive In Festival. Established and advanced the collaboration of industry non-profits, professional associations and trades and the growing network of more than 35,000 GIS alumni with students across North America.
