In my years at Progressive Insurance performed general claims handling from taking statements for liability from all drivers and witnessed, to ordering police reports and negotiations liability with other insurance companies. Currently I am a Manage Repair Representative for the company. I am responsible for inspecting vehicles in my territory of cities at all the body shops. Working with the customer and the shop to determine related damages and the best way to repair the vehicle back to pre-accident condition. This task requires not only building a relationship with the customer but with all the different auto body shops so we are able to reach an agreement on repairing the vehicle. This job also has the difficulty of identifying unrelated vehicle damages and being able to explain that to our customers.

I was responsible to check the delivey of furniture each morning and make sure there was no damaged parts. I then loaded the truck myself to make sure it was loaded so there would be no damage on delivery. I would deliver the furniture into the homes of many different cultures of people and would represent the company on the face to face basis. If there was an issue with the order I would take care of it with the customer on the delivery if possible to keep the customer as happy as possible.

This was a construction job that simply demanded high energy, quick learning, responsibility for your work load for the day. This job was very physically demanding and often required overtime every week.
