I am a Senior Petroleum Engineering student at Texas Tech and am graduating in August 2013. Last summer, I worked for BOPCO LP as a Production Engineering Intern. At BOPCO, I was involved in designing workovers involving acid stimulations, artificial lift and repair (sucker rod and ESPs), and recompletions of upper zones behind pipe. I consider myself competent in the disciplines of Production, Completion, and Reservoir Engineering. By applying decline curve analysis, statistical methods, oil and gas volumetrics, and material balance, I am successful in evaluating assets and diagnosing production problems caused by reservoir (drawdown issues & formation damage induced skin) and/or mechanical damage. (tubular failure caused by leaks, scale and paraffin build up, sand production & corrosion). After identifying problems affecting production performance, I provide the appropriate solution to restore or enhance well productivity.I see myself as a leader by example and possess good teamwork and communication skills within the work environment. I am competent in providing timely and accurate reports to other employees within my team or to upper management. I am committed to working with others while learning how to be the best engineer I can possibly be in order to become a valuable asset to my team.
