• Accountable for building department business plans 6+ months out to support sales and profit objectives of the business. Oversees the development of specific business plans, including execution, reporting, monitoring and budget management• Leads team to ensure optimal outbound inventory flow that support the business plan; identifying and escalating sales risks due to flow challenges; Influence optimal Inbound flow with merchants and business partners• Responsible for the development of my team. This includes giving continuous feedback, coaching/training and working on each team members IDP (individual development plan)• Collaborates with merchant team to assess and influence the viability of new business tests/ seeds and/or key drivers presenting results and recommendations to senior management and business partners• Collaborates with partners to identify inventory opportunities or risks; includes reviewing store department performance and inventory levels with Store Planning

• Responsible for developing weekly shipping strategy for HomeSense in partnership with the Planning AVPs and distribution services.• Forecasted HomeSense outbound flow plan 3+ months out to support labour needs at the distribution center.• Close partnership with logistics team to forecast any potential supply chain constraints that could impact our plans.• Responsible for developing forward-looking shipping strategies to present to Planning VPs with goal of improving in store receipts and overall profitability.• Close partnership with HomeSense planning teams on key in-store events

• Responsible for deciding the amount of dollars to be allocated each week for all three banners (Winners, Marshalls, HomeSense). The total dollar amount allocated can be more than $80 million a week to over 300 stores across Canada.• Responsible for sales trending, sales forecasting and equitably distributing the total dollars among all the complexes.• Responsible for acting as the liaison between the planning teams and the distribution centers.• Responsible for performing reviewing inbound flow of product, the production capabilities of the distribution center and the inventory levels of each complex.• Help facilitate the flow of merchandise for key events and new store openings
