My experiences in both analytical-data driven industries and entertainment- creativity driven industries gives me a unique ability to blend analytics and creativity together. When problem solving we tend to draw on our own experiences to create solutions and my diverse background of experiences can lead me to solutions others may not have thought of. I also consider myself to be a good communicator and people person. I have represented my current company at many national trade shows where I was relied upon to not only be knowledgeable about the technical details of our products but also a genuine and personable face for our company to the public In my current role as a process engineer I have used lean manufacturing and six sigma tools to reduce setup and changeover times, minimize scrap, and increase productivity. Other parts of my responsibility included interviewing, hiring, and supervising our engineering interns, completing capital expenditure requests for new equipment, and research and development for new product deployment.
