I was the Membership Services Officer for the Student Support Professionals Bargaining Unit in District 25 Ottawa-Carleton. I support over 1700 members with Health and Wellness related matters including LTD, WSIB, sick leave and Occupational Health and Safety Concerns. I was the JHSC Certified Worker Member for the SSP Bargaining Unit.

Working with the kindergarten team, I work to plan and implement a variety of developmentally appropriate activities for children in my program. I have worked with students ranging from 3-12 years of age. I contribute to the documentation of student learning, communicate with colleagues and parents to ensure the needs of the students are being met.

Worked as a shift manager. Duties included managing a staff of up to 20 people, receiving inventory, customer service, counting and balancing tills. Ensuring customer and employee satisfaction was a large part of the job. When there were issues, I was one of the people that would find a way to resolve the issue. I also conducted interviews with candidates. I worked days, evenings, and overnights. I was responsible for opening and closing satellite locations and occasionally working at other locations as well as delivering the deposits to the bank.
