Computer Test Operator
Current• Strong familiarity with hundreds of models of Dell laptops and Chromebooks• Tests every component of a customer’s machine or equipment for defects or other problems by using diagnostic software and testing equipment• The testing process is long and filled with many possible complications that require strong IT knowledge to identify and resolve• Firmware configuration, updating, and boot management is required before testing can begin; installing drivers and new operating systems as needed• Dozens of units are simultaneously and individually operated on at all times, requiring great time management and multitasking• Very flexible and able to adapt, as the work is everchanging, even from day to day• Collaboration with coworkers of all departments is not only a requirement, but a strong suit
