• Reviewed lease files to understand QEP’s ownership within the Uintah Basin. • Mapped all ownership within participating areas of the basin to be used by the exploration team.• Examined WI,NRI, depth severances and lease clauses within the Uintah Basin.• Assisted landman in the due diligence process of two acquisitions. Broke down incoming files and reviewed ownership reports, highlighting issues that could affect overall value of acquisition.• Studied federal leases at BLM office to determine ownership, availability, and lease expiration to decide whether large land grab would be feasible.
