I partner with other hospital units, health system departments, and other health care professionals to provide the best experience to our patients from their ER care to their financial needs.I am also responsible for patient admitting for the entire hospital. This includes facilitating patient transfer between other floors in the hospital or between facilities, registering new patients for inpatient stays or outpatient services, and ensuring accurate government compliance for all necessary forms and information. I work with the transfer center, the Nursing Operations Manager and other entities to ensure a smooth transition for our patients and minimize work for other caregivers. I also serve as a trainer for our department by assisting current employees with questions and systems knowledge, as well as helping to orient and train our new caregivers. Show less
