I am a Tech Lead for Machine Learning and Infrastructure programs within the New Product Introduction team under the Global Server Operations organization. I lead a rotating team of Project Leads where our primary goal is to introduce never before used equipment, software, and processes into the Datacenter environment. This includes deploying, maintaining, modifying or decommissioning products in various stages of development, identifying and resolving gaps in existing process and workflows, then shepherding them toward an eventual successful integration with global Production processes and teams.My role as a Tech Lead is to stay connected with the many ongoing projects, internal teams, and leads under the Machine Learning and Infrastructure umbrella to focus on forward looking changes as new products are developed and deployed as well as operational strategy. This includes process, workflow, and material changes to support any given program/project, but also to identify emerging technology trends, and planning support for future products.

I work on the New Product Introduction team under Hardware Operations. As new technology is developed for the data center, I work through the Engineering, Development, and Pilot phases to prepare for production. I handle the install, maintenance, and decommission of new tech/infrastructure within the data center and troubleshoot issues to prepare the product for global introduction. I collaborate with various Engineering and Program Management teams as the product moves towards production, ensuring that any issues that arise are mitigated before release. To simplify it, I get to be one of the first people in the world to work with the next generation of hardware and infrastructure that may some day change the world.

Performed triage and remote restore functionality in a NOC environment to minimize service impacting outages or service degradation for Cox Communications’ customers nationally. - Worked directly with telecom carriers and commercial business customers to resolve fiber and transport circuit issues using remote capabilities on multiple industry platforms, such as Cisco, Juniper, Alcatel-Lucent, Accedian, Fujitsu and Atrica - Opened cases with vendors to assist internal investigations with root cause analysis on hardware or software failures - Coordinated and managed the teams necessary for network repair during critical network failures where remote restoration was not possible

Monitor, organize, and verify repair and maintenance for technical facilities, network equipment and services built on both fiber and HFC networks across 9 states. Respond to equipment and service alarms in a highly timely and accurate manner as well as follow through with repair or utilize resources necessary to ensure proper resolution. Assume incident command during large scale network impairments and contribute to post incident reviews to prevent future events or reduce down times during similar events.Achievements include 2 "Golden Egg” awards for outstanding performance and work to improve our team’s ability to track repeat issues as well as eliminate 'False Positive' alerts and network events.

For the first year, assume the responsibilities of a Telephony Support Specialist including handling all residential and business telephone provisioning across the Central Region. Develop tools and assist with training across 3 markets to merge existing Telephony Support Specialists and existing Dispatchers to support telephone, cable, and data requests from home technicians, network technicians as well as customer scheduling requests.
