I am a graduate of Grand Valley State University with a double major in Supply Chain Management and Finance. Besides going to class and work I was also involved in a couple student organizations at Grand Valley State University. I co-founded an organization and served as the president. The name of organization is Students for Clean Water. The focus was on raising awareness throughout the campus community and also fundraising to help bring an end to the crisis of clean water in developing nations. I also was a student member of APICs a operations and supply chain international organization. Throughout my time at Grand Valley I gained valuable time management skills which I have been used in my time at Haworth. In my role at Haworth I continued to learn about the ins and outs of logistics. I performed daily reports at Haworth which track carrier performance among other metrics. I am in communication with our carrier base on a daily basis. I am proficient in the use of or TMS software system and also using SAP as a business resource. Along with these tasks I continued to receive more which I welcome because throughout I am learning many new things.Special SkillsI am proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel along with multiple business software systems including TMS systems and SAP. I would consider myself to be well organized, excellent time management skills and to have polished leadership skills. I also believe that as you go on in life you never stop learning and I hope to be able to carry this principle throughout life.
